Details of the Job/Internship
Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Compliance Advisor to join them in Bengaluru office. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a mix of remote and on-site collaboration. Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures, guidance and training.
- Disseminate regulations to business and support functions and provide ongoing advisory services to ensure that the Gainwell Technologies India organization operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Offer Compliance advisory to the Procurement team on vendor due diligence and on-boarding, Human Resources team on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and other teams as needed.
- Review third party contracts from Compliance perspective and offer compliance advisory to the Procurement team. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management and compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to address compliance issues and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor submission of regulatory reports and filings as required by relevant authorities.
- Monitor completion and submission of all registration/amendments and filing of all returns/documents under different Acts with the various regulatory authorities.
- Track, report and maintain Compliance Dashboard.
- Conduct internal investigations as needed to address compliance violations or suspected fraudulent activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Legislative Law or Equivalent Degree.
- 10 or more years of Compliance experience in handling Corporate Compliance, Labor Laws, Contract Management, Vendor Compliance Screening, audit etc. in a Corporate Legal and Compliance department of a multinational company.
- Experience in Shop & Establishment Act, Exposure to Payroll compliance like PF, ESI, PT, etc.
- Understanding of Labor Law, CLRA, will be an essential.
- Experience in Company Laws, Corporate and Regulatory Laws, Drafting Policies, Processes, Risk Assessment, etc.
- Understanding of Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Compliance, FCPA, UKBA, PCA will be an essential.
