Details of the Job/Internship
Airavat Capital is hiring a Compliance Analyst / Compliance Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join their offices in Bengaluru and GIFT City.
Role and Responsibilities
- Onboard new fund investors, manage KYC / FATCA / CRS compliance, and coordinate fund document execution with the Registrar & Transfer Agent (RTA). Respond professionally to investor queries.
- Develop understanding of applicable fund regulations (IFSCA, SEBI FPI, RBI FEMA, PMLA KYC / FATCA / CRS) and assist in operationalizing compliance frameworks with proper record-keeping.
- Prepare periodic regulatory filings and handle bespoke data requests from regulators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support fund operations including trade execution, treasury management, and KYC compliance. Work on strategic projects such as fund structuring and regulatory tracking.
- Track, review, and summarize regulatory notifications, prepare internal notes, and assist in implementing required changes.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining internal compliance policies, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
- Support preparation of Board and Committee documentation, including agendas, explanatory notes, minutes, and regulatory records.
Eligibility
- Graduate (LLB) or Postgraduate (LLM) in Law, or qualified Company Secretary (CS).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in legal, regulatory, compliance, or secretarial functions, preferably in financial services, investment management, or capital markets.
- Knowledge of legal drafting, compliance documentation, and regulatory interpretation.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and comfortable with MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
