Bybit is hiring for the position of Compliance Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Law Enforcement Response:
- Manage and respond promptly to inquiries, production orders, and notices from Indian Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
- Regulatory Documentation & Audit Trail:
- Maintain detailed logs, internal trackers, and correspondence related to regulatory and enforcement actions to ensure audit readiness and full traceability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams including legal, compliance, engineering, risk, and operations to prepare accurate and compliant responses to regulatory queries.
- Internal Compliance Support:
- Assist in internal audits and reviews to evaluate and strengthen the organization’s AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism) controls and processes.
- Regulatory Reporting:
- Support the preparation and submission of mandated reports such as Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and regular compliance updates to relevant authorities.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor ongoing obligations under Indian Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) regulations and proactively identify compliance risks and issues.
- Process Optimization:
- Contribute to refining compliance workflows and protocols based on evolving regulatory expectations and insights from day-to-day operations.
Eligibility
Experience:
- 2–4 years in compliance, AML, or regulatory liaison roles, preferably in the crypto, fintech, or broader financial services industry.
Legal & Regulatory Acumen:
- Strong knowledge of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, especially as it applies to Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers (VDASPs).
Hands-on Regulatory Experience:
- Prior experience handling FIU-IND submissions, LEA communications, and similar regulatory interactions is highly preferred.
Crypto Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of the VDA landscape, crypto exchange operations, and related compliance requirements.
Technical Coordination:
- Familiarity with user data architecture, wallet tracing, APIs, or log management to effectively liaise with technology teams.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong documentation and process tracking capabilities.
Compliance Mindset:
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and discreet with the ability to manage confidential matters and demonstrate a strong problem-solving orientation.
