Details of the Job/Internship

Canadian Solar Inc is looking for andidates for the position of compliance analyst.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain our comprehensive compliance program and related projects.
• Perform ABAC and KYC due diligence on (potential) suppliers and customers and the necessary risk assessments.
• Ensure that an organization's operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards.
• Research regulations and policies, communicate requirements.
• Provide input on customer compliance requirements, including completion of compliance questionnaires.
• Provide assistance to the operative functions and senior management on compliance matters and risks.
• Collaborate on all compliance matters including sanctions screening, background check, cyber-security, privacy and conflicts of interest.
• Compliance advocate and raising awareness within company for various departments.
• · Ensuring that personal data of staff, customers and other data subjects is processed in compliance with the applicable data protection rules (in particular, GDPR and CPRA)
• · Assess new digital business projects and processing operations for compliance with data protection requirements and cyber-security
• · Implementing internal training and raising awareness on data protection

Eligibility

• Have completed university studies in business, legal, or information technology.
• Excellent practical knowledge of compliance and data privacy and security.
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in relevant subject areas.
• Ability to work independently, with integrity and reliability.
• Interest in Legal operations, Business Operations and Data Privacy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player, showing social and intercultural competences.
• Analytical and result-oriented.

Salary/Stipend
