Manupatra is looking for a Compliance Analyst with strong legal and regulatory research skills.
Role and Responsibilities
Legal Compliance Management & Risk Assessment
- Ensure compliance with statutory Acts, Rules, Regulations, and industry-specific legal obligations.
- Conduct compliance assessments through documentation review and analysis.
- Identify compliance gaps and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Research and update legislation applicable across industries for content uploads into the compliance software.
- Create structured compliance checklists covering Central/State .Acts, SEBI, Labour, EHS, IT, IPR, Legal Metrology, Warehousing, etc.
- Track regulatory updates, categorize them, and ensure timely reflection in the compliance tool.
Client-Facing & Implementation Exposure
- Collect compliance requisitions and requirements directly from clients.
- Participate in product demos and client discussions.
- Address client queries related to legal content and compliance applicability.
- Support client onboarding and implementation of the compliance tool.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align client requirements with system configuration.
Legal Process & Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of compliance checklists and legal updates.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams for content-related enhancements.
- Conduct periodic Quality Checks (QC) of compliance data.
- Prepare weekly and monthly compliance calendars and legal update reports.
Team Management (Applicable if candidate has prior team leadership experience)
- Lead and guide the compliance team to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
- Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Provide mentoring and performance feedback to team members.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed university – Mandatory.
- 2–3 years in compliance, legal research, or regulatory roles.
- Candidate must currently be working in the compliance department of a corporate organization or with a practicing Company Secretary firm.
Salary/Stipend
Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
