Details of the Job/Internship

Transak is hiring for the position of Compliance Analyst to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Investigate complex AML cases involving blockchain transactions to identify money laundering and illicit activities.
• Draft and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with FinCEN, NCA, and FIU.
• Conduct name screening, transaction monitoring, and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk users.
• Serve as the point of contact for first-line analysts, providing compliance assistance on defined processes.
• Handle law enforcement requests (e.g., GDPR inquiries, legal requests) in line with regulatory obligations.
• Review FATF Travel Rule alerts and conduct blockchain monitoring using relevant tools.
• Support the Lead/Manager with ad-hoc compliance tasks.
• Assist the MLRO, BSA Officer, and Deputy MLRO with the approval of high-risk accounts and transactions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in Crypto Compliance or AML is essential.
• Proven experience in drafting and filing SARs is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of compliance-related laws and regulations, especially AML/CFT frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with blockchain monitoring tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or similar is preferred.
• Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Google Workspace, and basic reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS or ICA are an advantage.
