Details of the Job/Internship
Genrobotics is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance and Legal Officer with 3 years of experience to join them at their office in Trivandrum.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining statutory records and registers as per the Companies Act.
- Support in organizing board meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting minutes.
- File necessary forms and returns with regulatory authorities like MCA and ROC.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.
- Assist in the implementation of corporate governance policies. Monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure legal documentation complies with current laws and company policies.
- Handle legal disputes, including liaising with external counsel when necessary.
- Identify potential legal and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Should be semi qualified CS or legal background with experience under a Company Secretary.
- Minimum 3 years of Experience in working with a CS firm is Mandatory.
- LLB will be an added advantage.
