Details of the Job/Internship

Branch International is hiring a Compliance Associate with 4-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI’s SBR framework for Mid-Layer NBFCs.
• Prepare and submit timely regulatory returns to RBI and other statutory authorities.
• Track and implement changes in the regulatory landscape.
• Develop systems for early identification and mitigation of compliance risks.
• Review and update internal policies to align with current laws and regulations.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments periodically.
• Create and deliver compliance awareness and training sessions across teams.
• Prepare and present compliance status reports to senior management.
• Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders on all compliance-related matters.
• Provide advisory input on new product launches, market expansion, and process changes.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Support and manage RBI inspections and address regulatory findings effectively.

Eligibility

• Professional degree: CA / CS / LLB preferred.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in compliance with an NBFC or Bank.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, Companies Act, PMLA, and related laws.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Direct experience with RBI regulations applicable to Mid-Layer NBFCs under the SBR framework.
