Details of the Job/Internship

Branch International is hiring a Compliance Associate with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure adherence to RBI compliances specifically applicable to middle-layer NBFCs.
• Update internal departments on new circulars, regulatory amendments, and required action items.
• Provide regulatory advisory support to business and engineering teams for new product launches or market entries.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks within the company's financial products and daily operations.
• Draft, review, and vet legal documents, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct periodic compliance audits, testing, and comprehensive risk assessments.
• Assess the regulatory impact of the company's third-party partnerships and outsourcing activities.
• Maintain detailed records of compliance documentation and manage the internal compliance monitoring tool.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Qualified Company Secretary (CS); an LLB degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the compliance domain of an NBFC, Bank, or FinTech firm.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of RBI regulations, the Companies Act, and PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act).
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
