Details of the Job/Internship
Caxton Associates is hiring a Compliance Associate with experience of 1-3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of the Global Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Administer the firm’s Code of Ethics tool, specifically the "Comply" system.
- Perform monitoring and surveillance for Market Abuse and Personal Account Dealing.
- Review Gifts, Entertainment, and Investment Team communications for compliance.
- Collaborate with global team members on policies, procedures, and assignments from the CCO.
- Partner with colleagues across the firm to cultivate a proactive culture of compliance.
Eligibility
- Law degree or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a compliance generalist in a hedge fund, trading, or investment management firm.
- Practical experience managing Code of Ethics requirements, such as outside business interests and personal account dealing.
- Experience in operating trade and communications surveillance programmes.
- Knowledge of finance, markets, and the trade life cycle is considered a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to high ethical standards.
