Newfold Digital is hiring for the position of Compliance Associate with 0-1 year of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review dashboards and data to identify policy violations, such as misuse of unmetered hosting or restricted file storage.
- Communicate with clients via email to address breaches, guide them on policy compliance, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to handle client queries effectively.
- Publish monthly reports for stakeholders on handled cases, trends, and outcomes.
- Develop, maintain, and improve detection and mitigation processes for abusive activity.
- Liaise with global/domestic law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and industry watchdogs for abuse prevention.
- Conduct forensic analysis of malware, spam, phishing, spoofing, and other abuse incidents; recommend countermeasures.
- Proactively monitor abusive activity and ensure strict compliance with Terms of Usage.
- Guide operations teams in responding to abuse complaints and coordinating corrective actions with clients and partners.
- Gather intelligence from blacklists, fraud forums, and affected parties to understand threats and enhance defenses.
- Participate in cybersecurity forums and industry discussions to refine internal processes based on trends.
- Educate channel partners on best practices in fraud and abuse mitigation through webinars, presentations, and blogs.
Eligibility
- Experience: 0–1 years in customer service, IT support, or a similar role (cybersecurity experience a plus).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of Internet, web technologies, OS, and networking concepts with ability to learn quickly.
- High interest in cybersecurity, cyber law, or digital forensics.
- Strong problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage complex cases under pressure.
- Research-driven mindset with strong follow-through skills.
- Must be willing to work in shifts (including nights and holidays).
- Prior training or experience in cyber forensics, cyber law, or network security is preferred.
- Experience in client/customer interaction, especially in technical environments, is an advantage.
