Turbostart is hiring for the position of Compliance Associate with 0-1 year of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence of companies, primarily startups registered in India, and coordinate with them.
- Draft documents related to issuance and allotment of securities during investments in portfolio companies.
- Ensure compliance with Shareholders’ Agreements.
- Assist portfolio companies in meeting their corporate law compliance requirements.
- Draft notices, agendas, minutes, and annexures for Board meetings.
- Prepare Board of Director’s Reports, Annual General Meeting notices, and other documents for annual filings.
- Draft documents related to various complianc.e obligations under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Manage registration and ongoing compliance for local statutory registrations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- File necessary forms under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Assist in statutory audit closure.
- Handle compliance activities under various corporate laws including FEMA and SEBI AIF Regulations.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, Competition Act, SEBI AIF Regulations, and other relevant laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
