Details of the Job/Internship

Manupatra is hiring a Legal Editor with 4-6 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Compliance Management & Risk Advisory

• Track, research, and analyze statutory Acts, Rules, and industry-specific legal obligations (SEBI, Labour, EHS, IPR, IT, Metrology, Warehousing, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain compliance checklists across central and state jurisdictions.
• Monitor and categorize legal and regulatory changes for real-time updates to the compliance tool.
• Conduct periodic compliance gap assessments and support risk mitigation strategies.
• Support demos, training, and implementation for client onboarding.

Legal Content & Process Management

• Ensure quality and accuracy of all compliance-related documentation.
• Liaise with the internal tech team to integrate legal content into the compliance platform.
• Perform regular quality checks on data and maintain audit trails.
• Create and maintain weekly/monthly compliance calendars and update reports.

Client Engagement & Implementation

• Assist in deploying the compliance tool for clients.
• Provide legal input during configuration and client onboarding.
• Address client queries related to legal content or functionality.

Eligibility

• Strong command of Indian statutory and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in compliance documentation, legal research, and interpretation.
• Ability to structure complex laws into simplified digital formats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Salary/Stipend
