Details of the Job/Internship

CometChat is hiring a Compliance Executive to join their office in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrut & Internal Teams
• Assist in day-to-day compliance operations and ensure alignment with relevant security and privacy standards.
• Conduct Internal Audits
• Help plan and perform audits to assess compliance with policies, frameworks, and controls.
• Manage Documentation
• Keep policies, procedures, and other compliance documents updated and audit-ready.
• Support Compliance Initiatives
• Assist in implementing corrective measures and new compliance controls across teams.
• Track Regulatory Developments
• Stay updated on emerging data privacy laws and compliance standards.
• Drive Awareness & Training
• Support development and delivery of internal training on compliance and security best practices.
• Assist in Incident Response
• Help document and investigate any compliance-related incidents or breaches.
• Vendor Security Assessments
• Complete security questionnaires and risk assessments as part of vendor onboarding and due diligence.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Passion for learning and staying current with regulatory trends.

Salary/Stipend
