Details of the Job/Internship

JLL is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance Executive with 8+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru East.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
• Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization's operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee internal audits and compliance reviews across all business units.
• Investigate reported compliance violations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
• Provide guidance and advisory support to management on compliance-related matters.
• Establish and maintain an effective compliance reporting system, including a confidential hotline.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and other departments to address compliance concerns.
• Manage the compliance budget and resources effectively.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in compliance management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry associations.
• Lead and mentor the compliance team, ensuring their professional development and effectiveness.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CAMS) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., FCPA, AML, GDPR, SOX).
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.
• Excellent understanding of risk assessment and management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in compliance management software and data analysis tools.

• Experience in conducting internal investigations and audits.

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

• Industry-specific knowledge relevant to the organization's sector.
