Details of the Job/Internship

Bridgestone India is hiring a Compliance Lead with 12 years of experience to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Research, develop, implement, and review compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Partner with India and regional teams to share expertise and best practices.
• Maintain and strengthen the compliance framework and program.
• Manage India’s whistleblowing platform and support regional reporting.
• Lead investigations in ethics and compliance matters and guide teams on work plans.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up on compliance-related queries and issues.
• Drive the regional third-party screening program.
• Develop creative compliance initiatives and training materials.
• Provide training and coordinate with PICs of group companies for regulatory compliance.
• Provide administrative support for legal and compliance activities.
• Support planning and coordination of Governance, Risk, and Compliance Committee meetings.
• Perform additional duties assigned by India and regional offices.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in compliance, internal controls, legal, or audit in a multinational company.
• Strong logical, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
• Self-starter with ability to work in diverse, dynamic environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across levels and cultures.
