Details of the Job/Internship

CARS24 is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance Lead to join them at their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance for CARS24’s lending business in India, aligning compliance strategy with business goals.
• Develop and implement a robust compliance framework for a rapidly scaling business.
• Ensure 100% compliance with RBI regulations, managing filings, audits, and inspections.
• Stay ahead of NBFC/LSP regulatory changes, conducting impact assessments and gap analyses.
• Advise teams on compliance laws and integrate regulatory requirements into product development.
• Educate staff on compliance matters and act as the primary point of contact for regulatory queries.
• Provide quarterly compliance reports and escalate critical issues to senior management.
• Oversee FDI compliance, ensuring adherence to investment limits, reporting, and approvals.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks across business verticals.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, ensuring transparency.
• Foster a culture of compliance through collaboration with Ops, Product, Tech, and other teams.

Eligibility

• Experience: 10–12 years in Compliance within Digital Lending, Financial Services, or Fintech.
• Qualification: Postgraduate with proven expertise in regulatory compliance.
• Industry Background: NBFCs, Digital Lending, Insurance Broking, or Insurers.

Expertise:

• Deep understanding of lending/insurance regulations and industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory audits and direct engagement with regulators.
• Strong grasp of reporting procedures and compliance frameworks.
• Analytical mindset to navigate complex regulations and implement practical solutions.
