Details of the Job/Internship

Scapia is hiring a Compliance Lead with experience of over 6 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive credit and lending compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with the latest guidelines.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks associated with co-branded credit card operations.
• Establish robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track compliance health and conduct internal audits.
• Collaborate with legal, risk management, and product teams to integrate compliance measures into credit and lending processes.
• Facilitate the setup of new operational processes for NBFC and lending activities.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate the evolving regulatory landscape to adapt organizational compliance strategies.
• Create and present detailed compliance reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Law or Finance.
• 6+ years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the fintech sector.
• In-depth knowledge of credit and lending regulations, including consumer lending, fair lending practices, and privacy laws.
• Proven track record of building and implementing compliance policies from scratch.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on execution and high-quality output.
