Details of the Job/Internship
Altoura is hiring a compliance manager with 3 to 5 years of experience to join them in Greater Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
Compliance Leadership:
- Oversee business operations to ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards, especially ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on compliance laws and best practices specific to the software industry.
- Drive the organizational transition from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Technical Collaboration:
- Work closely with the engineering team to integrate compliance requirements into software systems.
- Oversee the implementation and documentation of ISMS frameworks.
Audit Readiness:
- Ensure organizational readiness for ISO/IEC and ISMS audits.
- Collaborate with external auditors and ensure timely submission of all audit-related documents and evidence.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess compliance risks; propose actionable mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a detailed log of compliance breaches and recommend corrective measures.
Employee Training & Awareness:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to build awareness of compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability and understanding of compliance policies across the organization.
Process Optimization:
- Regularly review and refine compliance processes to close gaps and improve efficiency.
- Ensure documentation and processes are up-to-date with the latest ISO/IEC standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, law, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance management, particularly in the software product industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of software systems and compliance standards.
- In-depth understanding of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and 27001:2022 standards, with experience managing ISMS frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to mitigating risks.
