Details of the Job/Internship
First Solar is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance Manager with 12 to 15 years of experience to work with them remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop Compliance Frameworks: Lead the design of Ethics and Integrity frameworks, including Ethics Charters and a comprehensive Code of Conduct (CoC).
- Policy Implementation: Establish key policies (e.g., Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Conflict of Interest) to maintain high ethical standards across the organization.
- Statutory Compliance Oversight: Ensure factory and branch adherence to labor, environmental, and HR regulations. Regular audits and actionable compliance monitoring are core to this role.
- Corporate Secretarial Duties: Manage corporate secretarial activities, including maintaining statutory records, timely regulatory filings, and liaising with authorities.
- Training and Culture Building: Cultivate a culture of compliance by conducting training sessions and fostering ethical practices.
Eligibility
- Education: Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Experience: 12-15 years in compliance, ideally from reputed law firms, Big Four firms, or manufacturing backgrounds.
- Expertise in corporate laws (Companies Act, 2013), FEMA, RBI regulations, and related standards.
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and ability to work within global teams.
