Details of the Job/Internship
Kotak Mahindra Bank is hiring a Compliance Manager with experience of over 8 years to join their office in Mumbai. The role focuses on providing compliance advisory and monitoring in relation to RBI regulations pertaining to FEMA capital and current account transactions, supporting business stakeholders, and conducting compliance testing and reviews.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the business group by providing advisory services and implementing an effective control framework for compliance with RBI regulations under FEMA capital and current account transactions.
- Assist stakeholders in implementing regulations and reviewing new and variant products, policies, and processes from a compliance perspective.
- Review regulatory correspondence and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Partner with compliance peers on critical projects and escalate key concerns to the Vertical Lead and CCO.
- Organise training sessions for business stakeholders.
- Assist during annual RBS and thematic regulatory audits.
- Issue compliance advisories to the business on important RBI developments and clarifications.
- Conduct Compliance Business Reviews, including RBS Tranche III testing.
- Prepare root cause analyses of critical issues and track remediation actions.
Eligibility
- CA/CS/MBA with prior relevant compliance experience of more than 8 years.
- Strong understanding of FEMA regulations, banking products, and RBI regulations.
