Details of the Job/Internship
Manupatra is hiring a Compliance Manager with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Noida, Sector-1.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory Acts, Rules, Regulations, and industry-specific legal obligations.
- Conduct compliance assessments through documentation and observation.
- Identify compliance gaps, perform impact analysis, and support continuous compliance improvement.
- Research and interpret legislation across industries for content uploads into the compliance software.
- Create and review compliance checklists for Central and State Acts, Rules, SEBI, Labour, EHS, IT, IPR, Metrology, Warehousing, and other applicable laws.
- Track legal updates, categorise them, and ensure timely updates within the compliance tool.
- Engage with clients to understand regulatory environments, operational structures, and compliance needs.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for compliance discussions.
- Gather and analyse client requirements to configure the compliance platform effectively.
- Recommend best practices and scalable compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to translate requirements into system enhancements.
- Support product demonstrations with compliance expertise.
- Lead and guide the compliance team to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
- Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and maintain quality standards.
- Mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
- Maintain records of compliance checklists, client requirements, and legal updates.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams for content-related tool enhancements.
- Conduct periodic quality checks of compliance data and content.
- Prepare weekly and monthly compliance calendars and legal update reports.
- Lead and support client implementation and onboarding of compliance tools.
- Provide legal content and analytical support during configuration and onboarding.
- Ensure smooth transition from requirement gathering to deployment with accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed university.
- Company Secretary qualification is an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in the compliance department of a corporate.
- Experience in team management.
- Experience in client interaction and stakeholder management.
Salary/Stipend
