Details of the Job/Internship
MSMUnify is hiring for the position of compliance manager with 5-7 years of experience to join them in their Ahmedabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
Compliance Management:
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changing industry regulations, company law, and compliance best practices.
Financial Reporting & Audits:
- Oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting and audit preparation.
- Address and resolve audit queries efficiently.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
IPO Readiness and Due Diligence:
- Lead and manage the IPO due diligence process, coordinating with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Accounting & Filings:
- Review and analyze monthly accounts for Indian entities and finalize yearly accounts.
- Oversee GST monthly and annual returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Manage TDS return filings, including issuance of Form 16.
- Finalize and execute payroll, ensuring all payroll compliances are met.
Statutory Compliance:
- Manage ROC filings, including maintaining minutes, statutory registers, and company incorporation-related documentation.
- Obtain and manage necessary licenses, registrations, and permits for the company.
Coordination & Documentation:
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Support other finance and compliance-related tasks as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CA/CS or other professional qualifications are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compliance, accounting, or financial audit roles.
- Proven experience in managing statutory filings, financial audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, Indian taxation (TDS, GST), and ROC filings.
- Experience in IPO due diligence and coordination is an advantage.
