Ganpat University is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer- Provident Fund with 5-7 years of experience to join their campus in Mehsana, Gujarat.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable labor laws and HR statutory requirements, including but not limited to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Professional Tax, and other statutory deductions.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and both internal and external reporting.
• Liaise with statutory authorities such as Labour Offices, PF, and ESI departments for inspections, queries, and timely submission of statutory returns and reports.
• Monitor and interpret changes in labor and employment legislation, providing timely updates and recommendations to the HR team to ensure University policies are aligned with regulatory changes.
• Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Support the payroll team in executing statutory deductions and ensuring timely filing and deposit of statutory contributions.
• Oversee and manage processes related to registrations, renewals, licenses, and returns under the Contract Labour Regulation Act & Abolishment (CLRA) and other applicable labor laws.
• Ensure compliance with matters related to compensation and benefits, including overseeing the full and final settlement process for outgoing employees.

Eligibility

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in HR statutory compliance and labor law management.
• Additional Advantage: Experience in an academic or institutional environment is highly desirable.
