Details of the Job/Internship

AMCA is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer with 1-2 years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments to identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance-related training and awareness programs to staff.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into business processes.
• Investigate compliance breaches and prepare incident reports.
• Keep abreast of updates in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate submissions to regulatory authorities for approvals, risk assessments, and related matters.
• Respond to inquiries from regulators and support the resolution of any compliance concerns.
• Review legal documents including NDAs, contracts, reports, articles, and vlogs for regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate with authorities and manage timely submissions and responses.
• File SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports), STRs (Suspicious Transaction Reports), REARs (Risk Evaluation and Assessment Reports), etc.
• Participate in authority inspections and ensure timely closure of observations and comments.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of compliance regulations and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Prior experience in a compliance, legal, or audit function is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
