Details of the Job/Internship

Artha Bharat Group is hiring a Compliance Officer with 5+ years of experience to join its GIFT City IFSC office in Gandhinagar.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IFSCA (Pension Fund) Regulations, 2026 and related guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact.
• Oversee regulatory filings, disclosures, and reporting to IFSCA.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews.
• Implement and maintain compliance policies, including AML/CFT, KYC, and conflict of interest.
• Manage grievance redressal and subscriber protection mechanisms.
• Maintain oversight of fit-and-proper criteria for key personnel.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory communication.
• Escalate compliance issues to the Board and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Board and senior management on governance matters.

Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or legal roles in regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulation and governance standards.
• Ability to meet fit-and-proper criteria for IFSC entities.
• Willingness to work full-time in GIFT City IFSC.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Compliance certification (ICA, CAMS) or CS qualification preferred.
• Experience with regulators such as IFSCA, SEBI, IRDAI, or similar is preferred.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT frameworks and pension or investment products is an advantage.
