Details of the Job/Internship

BitMart is hiring a compliance officer to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Compliance Frameworks: Develop and execute compliance policies and procedures that align with the firm’s strategic goals and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Engagement: Lead the firm's licensing efforts and manage communications with local regulatory bodies, including (but not limited to) the Financial Intelligence Unit.
• Reporting & Documentation: Ensure timely, accurate preparation and submission of all required compliance reports to relevant authorities.
• Strategic Compliance Advisory: Provide clear, actionable advice on key compliance matters—offering sound judgment, strong advocacy, and timely deliverables to support the management team.
• Regulatory Monitoring & Risk Assessment: Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry guidelines; assess their impact on the firm and propose proactive, practical solutions.

Eligibility

• Fluency in English – Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Experience – Minimum of 3 years in regulatory compliance, preferably in a fast-paced or evolving industry.
• Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech is a strong plus—or a demonstrated eagerness to quickly learn and adapt to the space.
• Agility & Adaptability – Comfortable navigating a competitive, fast-moving environment and aligning with shifting business priorities.
• Leadership & Problem-Solving – Proven ability to lead initiatives independently, tackle challenges with a solution-focused mindset, and communicate clearly across teams.
• Attention to Detail & Initiative – Self-motivated, quick to learn, and meticulous in execution.
