Details of the Job/Internship

BitMart is hiring a compliance officer to join them remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with the firm’s goals and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate the firm's licensing efforts and related communications with local regulatory bodies as required, including but not limited to the Financial Intelligence Unit. 
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
• Provide advice on key compliance-related issues, leveraging excellent communication and advocacy skills and offering well-judged and timely deliverables to the management team. 
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting our operations, analyzing potential impact and solutions.

Eligibility

• Fluency in English is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of regulatory-related compliance experience.
• Knowledge in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech industry, or strong willingness to learn about cryptocurrency, is preferred.
• Adaptability to a highly competitive industry and a rapidly growing firm's business priority.
• Proven ability to lead, independent problem-solving, and outstanding communication skills.
• Quick learner, self-starter, and highly detail-oriented.

Salary/Stipend
