Details of the Job/Internship
Cognite is hiring a compliance officer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join them at their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Working with legal tech tools to automate the legal department.
- Provide direction for, review, and recommend approval of Business Integrity and Compliance plans, ensuring alignment between the various teams at Cognite.
- Document and report findings from assessments and incidents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner with plans for improvement and monitoring of corrective actions.
- Maintain and communicate the Code of Conduct, the Anti-Corruption Policy, the Third Party Representative Policy, the GDPR Policy, etc.
- Company-wide compliance and ethics training.
- Obtain and redistribute KPIs within compliance.
- Annually review corporate responsibility and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internationally recognized reporting guidelines.
- Norwegian Transparency Act Due Diligence and Reporting.
- Customer, partner, and vendor background checks and compliance due diligence.
- ESG compliance, including EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- Support the India office and the global legal team with ad-hoc legal tasks.
