Edelweiss Financial Services Limited is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer with 5 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective compliance and risk management systems tailored to GIFT City operations.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards.
- Monitor regulatory updates and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and strengthen internal control mechanisms.
- Draft, update, and disseminate compliance-related policies and procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory authorities, including IFSCA, and liaise with internal and external auditors.
Managerial Responsibilities:

Eligibility
- A postgraduate degree/diploma (minimum two years) or professional qualification in finance, law, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital markets, banking, insurance, or actuarial science from:
- A recognized Indian or foreign university/institution/association, or.
- An accredited organization/stock exchange regulated by a recognized authority in India or abroad.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the securities or financial services industry.
- Experience with firms such as portfolio managers, broker-dealers, investment advisors, wealth managers, .
- Prior exposure to GIFT City or IFSCA regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
