Details of the Job/Internship

InZone is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer with 3 years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, including company incorporations, annual renewals, and related legal obligations.
• Perform comprehensive client due diligence (CDD) using global databases to identify PEPs, SOEs, and sanctioned individuals/entities.
• Conduct risk assessments for high-risk clients, report adverse findings, and flag potential compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance reviews, due diligence activities, and risk assessments.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and auditing of company operations to ensure adherence to compliance policies and standards.
• Review and verify KYC documents submitted by new clients; conduct routine background checks for existing clients as per policy.
• Identify, escalate, and investigate any compliance concerns or suspicious activities.
• Advise clients on Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) disclosures, and other compliance-related matters.
• Stay updated on changes to AML regulations, UAE laws, and international compliance frameworks.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a compliance or risk-related role.
• Solid understanding of AML regulations and best practices.
• ACAMS certification is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong ethical foundation, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Salary/Stipend
