Details of the Job/Internship
Lucy Electric is currently seeking a Compliance Officer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join their team in Vadodara.
Role and Responsibilities
- Determine and update for current and upcoming Government laws, Legal & Regulatory requirements and Industry’s standards to management and respective function(s).
- Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.
- Establish and implement necessary process controls and monitoring checks for compliances of all Interested parties.
- Periodic review of compliance registers for ratings and level of certainty with LIVE action plan(s).
- Evaluate and assess Risks and Opportunities related to compliances and establish LIVE actions plan(s).
- Proactively perform auditing of processes, practices and documents to improve the Compliance Audit ratings.
- Provide necessary training to all concerns for continual improvement of compliance actions.
- Recommend and review the function team members active participation and ownership.
- Provide necessary periodic awareness and motivation and explain importance at functional level for relevant compliances.
- Raise change request as and when required for continuous improvement for compliance monitoring.
- Maintain all the documentations and complete records/information submission to government bodies for continuation of business activities.
Eligibility
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education (Preferrable):
- BSc/BA/ B.com in law, finance, business administration or a related field
- Bachelor/Master of Legislative Laws or BSW/ MSW LLB having strong legal background dealing with various statutory authority independently.
- Experienced ESG Professional with required certifications
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus
Required Skills & Experience:
- Min 5-7 years of proven relevant experience as Compliance officer.
- Knowledge of Legal requirements and controls
- Familiar with industry practices and professional standards
- Experience in Risk Management.
- Excellent communication skill including drafting legal documents, paper, commentary etc.
