Oister Global is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer with 5 years of experience to join their office in Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GIFT City IFSCA and SEBI AIF regulations while leading compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Develop infrastructure, systems, and processes to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, particularly regarding the SEZ Act and SEBI AIF IFSC Guidelines.
- Prepare, analyze, and validate compliance reports and quarterly regulatory filings for Board and regulatory review.
- Maintain statutory registers and secretarial records.
- Organize and manage documentation related to AIF investments in GIFT City, ensuring accurate reporting to Trustees, contributors, and regulators.
- Oversee statutory filings and submissions, including:
- Renewal of Registration cum Membership Certificate
- Lease renewals
- Service Export Reporting
- Monthly Investment & Employment Reports
- Annual Performance Reports
- Ensuring validity of Bond Cum Legal Undertaking
- Monitor and report investor servicing compliance to statutory authorities.
- Conduct training on compliance topics and support the implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Safeguard the entity from regulatory risks, including Financial Crimes Compliance.
Eligibility
- Professional qualification: Member of ICSI, ICAI, or an LLB with relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the securities market, financial products, portfolio management, brokerage, investment advisory, wealth management, research analysis, or fund management.
- Secretarial experience, preferably within the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, FEMA, and investment regulations across various industries and jurisdictions.
- Experience coordinating with foreign law firms on regulatory matters.
- Proficiency in Companies Act, PMLA, SAST, KYC, and Insider Trading regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a fund management entity is highly desirable.
