Details of the Job/Internship
QuantaNova Technologies is hiring for the position of Compliance Officer with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regulatory & Trading Compliance
- Ensure organization-wide compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and Depository regulations.
- Oversee compliance across all trading platforms (NEAT, TWS, CTCL) with a focus on risk management controls.
- Manage end-to-end compliance for algorithmic trading, including approvals, real-time surveillance, and audit trail maintenance.
- Lead implementation and upkeep of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) frameworks.
- Supervise compliance with SEBI's cybersecurity requirements and coordinate system/network audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SEBI and stock exchanges, especially during inspections and reviews.
- Stay updated with evolving regulatory guidelines, especially those relevant to quantitative and high-frequency trading (HFT).
Eligibility
- Graduate in Law, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within a stockbroking or financial services firm.
- Mandatory Certification: NISM-Series-III A: Securities Intermediaries Compliance.
- Sound understanding of SEBI, Exchange, and Depository norms, including AML/KYC compliance and RMS/back-office operations.
- Direct experience with trading infrastructure and tools such as NEAT, TWS, CTCL.
- Strong knowledge of Indian capital markets and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Must meet SEBI’s "fit and proper" criteria as per Circular NSE/COMP/54600 and complete all mandated half-yearly compliance training.
