Details of the Job/Internship
Renaissance Investment Managers is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance officer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join them at their office in Gandhinagar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with IFSCA Regulations, and any other applicable regulatory guidelines specific tAIF Category III.
- Stay updated on any changes tlocal or global financial regulations that could impact AIF operations within GIFT City.
- Liaise with the regulatory authorities (such as IFSCA, RBI, etc.) and other stakeholders tensure proper compliance practices are followed.
- Ensure adherence tSEZ compliances related tGIFT City including various filings with relevant authority.
- Monitor the risk management framework and ensure all risk-related processes are in place and aligned with regulatory standards.
- Identify and evaluate compliance risks within AIF investment portfolios and operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation, addressing regulatory, operational, and market risks.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of periodic reports, including compliance certificates, disclosures, and other filings as required by IFSCA, SEZ and other authorities.
- Maintain and manage compliance documentation, records, and audit trails related tAIF operations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and compliance reviews tidentify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure that all relevant information is available for review.
- Ensure that investor communications and reports are accurate, transparent, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Oversee investor documentation such as KYC (Know Your Customer), FATCA, and other compliance checks for investors in the AIF.
Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CS, LLB, or CA) is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role in the financial services industry, particularly within AIFs or asset management. o Familiarity with SEBI (AIF) Regulations and other financial regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework and regulations affecting various businesses, in particular IFSCA requirements.
