Millennium is hiring for the position of Compliance Program Associate with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Compliance Program Management
 - Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and controls across Asia.
 - Assist with trade monitoring and electronic communications surveillance to identify potential insider trading, market manipulation, or receipt of MNPI (material non-public information).
 - Review and analyze surveillance alerts, escalating findings as necessary.
 - Manage the Restricted List and handle trade requests in line with firm policies.
 - Partner with team members to address compliance risks, regulatory developments, and operational challenges.
 - Policy Development & Maintenance
 - Assist in drafting, enhancing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
 - Conduct periodic reviews to ensure policies remain effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.
 - Provide recommendations to mitigate compliance risks and enhance operational efficiency.
 - Internal Investigations & Risk Assessments
 - Support internal investigations related to compliance matters, including regulatory or broker inquiries across APAC.
 - Perform risk assessments and help implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
 - Regulatory Awareness & Special Projects
 - Monitor regulatory changes and compliance developments across Asia.
 - Contribute to compliance-related projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
 
Eligibility
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field (strong academic record preferred).
 - 5+ years of experience in compliance, trade surveillance, or related fields within a regulatory authority, broker, bank, or buy-side firm.
 - Solid knowledge of securities/trading industry; familiarity with Asian regulatory frameworks is a plus.
 
Technical Expertise
- Experience with third-party compliance/surveillance tools and platforms.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex compliance challenges.
 - Proficiency in Bloomberg, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written, analytical, and research capabilities.
 - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication ability.
 - Confidence to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
 - Team-oriented with a proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for financial markets.
