Details of the Job/Internship
Veradigm is looking for a candidate for the position of Compliance Specialist with 2 to 3 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Efficient to provide adequate legal support and legal opinion to the concerned departments on legal matters as and when required.
- Conducting legal analysis and researching on legal subjects.
- Prepare, review, and modify contractual instruments (NDA, employment contracts, vendor, and commercial contracts etc. related documentation)
- Liaison with Legal advisors to seek opinion in responses to authorities.
- Provide ongoing support to business in addressing Legal Compliances, providing legal advice on internal legal issues/ requirements, solution oriented legal advice.
- Establish and maintain robust monitoring mechanisms to keep abreast of the status of compliance activities of all departments.
- Maintaining legal repository and updating statutory compliance tracker.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, good negotiation skills, able to understand business requirements and ability to prioritize conflicting assignments.
- Monthly work on exclusion screening reports for associates and vendors.
- Any other ad-hoc work for the Legal team.
- Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.
- Should be well acquainted with company secretarial compliances.
- Should provide ongoing support including preparing the Board Resolutions, maintenance of minutes books, coordinating for annual compliances etc.
- Should maintain an accurate repository for the secretarial compliances.
- Should liaison with the Consultant for required form fillings.
Eligibility
- Should be a qualified LLB and Company Secretary with strong communication skills.
- Should be well-versed with MS office applications including MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Prior working experience in the legal and company secretarial work will be add on.
- Years of experience: 2 years to 3 years of corporate/ industry experience.
- This role will have dual reporting to the India and US Leader.
- High ability in drafting official letters and legal documents.
- Highly skilled in using computer applications.
Salary/Stipend
Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
