Details of the Job/Internship
Wells Fargo is hiring a Compliance Specialist with 2 years of experience to work in Bengaluru to establish and maintain risk standards and compliance programs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance risk programs to meet federal, state, and corporate policy requirements.
- Oversee compliance-related decisions and support regulatory monitoring.
- Provide compliance risk insights and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage reporting, escalation, and remediation of compliance issues.
- Support data accuracy, troubleshoot system issues, and manage regulatory projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and guide business units on compliance requirements.
- Interpret policies, resolve issues, and drive process improvements.
- Coach and train junior team members and monitor key performance indicators.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years compliance experience or equivalent through work, training, or education.
- Preferred qualifications include Law degree (LLB, LLM, or Company Secretary).
- Fluency in foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
- Expertise in technology data entry related to laws and regulations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with SHRP Governance Management system (Archer) and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Execution-oriented with attention to detail and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
