Details of the Job/Internship

Wells Fargo is hiring a Compliance Specialist with 2 years of experience to work in Bengaluru to establish and maintain risk standards and compliance programs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance risk programs to meet federal, state, and corporate policy requirements.
• Oversee compliance-related decisions and support regulatory monitoring.
• Provide compliance risk insights and support risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage reporting, escalation, and remediation of compliance issues.
• Support data accuracy, troubleshoot system issues, and manage regulatory projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and guide business units on compliance requirements.
• Interpret policies, resolve issues, and drive process improvements.
• Coach and train junior team members and monitor key performance indicators.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years compliance experience or equivalent through work, training, or education.
• Preferred qualifications include Law degree (LLB, LLM, or Company Secretary).
• Fluency in foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
• Expertise in technology data entry related to laws and regulations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with SHRP Governance Management system (Archer) and SharePoint is advantageous.
• Execution-oriented with attention to detail and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
