Details of the Job/Internship

Teams Squared is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Lawyer to support contract compliance workflows in the construction sector. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review construction contracts, subcontracts, scopes of work, and special contractual conditions.
• Identify and extract key contractual obligations such as notice requirements, time bars, variations, extension of time provisions, and payment claim processes.
• Analyze certification workflows, retention conditions, and release mechanisms in construction contracts.
• Enter and validate extracted contractual data accurately within the Clawz compliance platform.
• Support compliance workflows including notices, checklists, and deadline tracking.
• Monitor critical contractual dates and triggers to ensure operational compliance.
• Perform quality checks on contract data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve compliance processes, templates, and workflow efficiency.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate law degree (LLB or equivalent).
• Experience in contract administration, compliance, or legal assistant/paralegal roles.
• Strong ability to interpret and summarize complex contractual clauses.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured workflows.
• Comfortable working with detailed legal and technical documents.
• Experience in construction law, contract management tools, or legal-tech platforms is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
