Details of the Job/Internship
Acumen is hiring a Deputy Manager/Manager – Legal & Compliance with 7–10 years of experience to support global legal, compliance, contract, and policy functions across multiple international jurisdictions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate service contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, engagement letters, and SoWs.
- Support global compliance by updating and maintaining in-house policies and SOPs.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation matters across India and other jurisdictions.
- Assist in data privacy assessments, risk identification, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage IP registrations, renewals, and disputes with external IP counsel.
- Provide legal awareness and updates to internal non-legal teams.
- Maintain compliance trackers and contract trackers for all active contracts.
- Support global teams on diverse legal issues and assist in day-to-day legal operations.
Eligibility
Full-time law degree with specialisation in Corporate Law.
7–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably with global
