Details of the Job/Internship

Acumen is hiring a Deputy Manager/Manager – Legal & Compliance with 7–10 years of experience to join its Legal & Compliance team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, SoWs, and engagement letters.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with internal policies, manuals, and SOPs under applicable global laws.
• Coordinate with external advocates and counsels across jurisdictions and maintain litigation trackers.
• Support data privacy assessments and assist in identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
• Manage intellectual property registrations, maintenance, and related disputes.
• Track legal and regulatory changes and assist in providing training to non-legal stakeholders.
• Support global teams on diverse legal issues and compliance requirements.
• Maintain compliance and contract trackers and support day-to-day legal operations.

Eligibility

• Full-time law degree from a premier law school with a specialisation in Corporate Law.
• 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in legal and compliance functions.
• Experience with corporate in-house teams or law firms serving global clients.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with international compliance frameworks such as GDPR and data protection laws.
