Details of the Job/Internship

Nyara AI is hiring a Consulting Lawyer for a part-time, remote consulting role to work closely with its product and engineering teams. The role involves shaping and validating AI-driven legal workflows, reviewing AI-generated legal outputs, contributing to legal playbooks, advising on contract and litigation use cases, and ensuring legal accuracy, contextual reasoning, and real-world applicability across jurisdictions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated outputs related to contracts, clauses, and legal reasoning.
• Support contract review, redlining, and risk assessment workflows.
• Define and refine legal playbooks, standards, and compliance rules.
• Provide feedback on accuracy, explainability, and citation integrity of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and business teams to guide legal use cases.
• Advise on regulatory and jurisdiction-specific legal considerations.
• Contribute to pilot programs and early customer feedback initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Admission to practice law in one or more jurisdictions, including the UK, US, India, or EU.
• Strong expertise in legal research, legal writing, and drafting legal documents.
• Proven experience in contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to assess legal risk, interpretation consistency, and citation dependencies.
• Strong communication, client advisory, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Interest or experience in using legal technology or AI tools.
• Additional legal certifications are a plus.

Salary/Stipend
