Details of the Job/Internship

Spice Route Legal is hiring for the position of Content and Communications Associate with  0-2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

• Develop content for blogs, social media, newsletters, presentations, and campaigns.
• Help define and maintain the firm's tone, voice, and messaging across platforms.

Practice Storytelling

• Transform legal wins, practice updates, and case studies into clear, engaging content for both legal and non-legal audiences.
• Assist with content for global legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500).

Social & Digital Media

• Own and manage the firm’s social media calendar and channels.
• Bring creativity, consistency, and strategic thinking to the firm’s online presence.

Visual & Brand Communication

• Work on design and layout for PDFs, event invites, decks, and internal/external templates using tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
• Ensure consistency in visual identity and brand messaging.

PR & External Communications

• Build relationships with journalists, legal media outlets, and event organizers.
• Identify and pursue speaking opportunities, media features, and editorial collaborations.

Internal Communications & Culture

• Craft internal newsletters and communications that strengthen firm culture and engagement.

Eligibility

• A degree in Law, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in content, communications, media, or marketing—internships welcome!.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; bonus if you’ve written for brands, media, or creative side projects.
• Strong design sensibility and comfort with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Curiosity about law, tech, business, and culture—and how they intersect.
• A collaborative, proactive mindset with a love for storytelling.
• Prior legal knowledge is not mandatory, but a comfort working in a legal-adjacent environment is a plus.

Salary/Stipend
