Details of the Job/Internship
Net2Source Inc. is seeking a Contract Analyst for their India offices in Noida, Vadodara, or Bengaluru. The primary responsibility of this role is to review contracts from US-based clients and extract relevant information for leadership review. Additionally, the Contract Analyst will draft supplier contracts in compliance with US contract laws to protect the company's interests.
The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Management, Finance, and Sales. Upon arrival, the Contract Analyst will onboard contracts into the system, create detailed rules of engagement, and provide clients with necessary documentation and insurance.
It is essential for candidates to possess strong experience in contract management and familiarity with US contract laws.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee organizational contract development and management activities and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
- Ensure contracts and proposals are correctly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained.
- Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language, and provisions.
- Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
- Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations. - Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments.
- Interface with insurance companies regarding the adequacy of coverage and purchasing needs.
- Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations
- Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards, and cost targets.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit the organization’s financial performance.
- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
- Review the contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field preferred. (In some cases, an advanced degree may be desirable.).
- Prior experience of working in the US Staffing (agency side) experience is preferred.
- Prior work experience in a contract management role, such as purchasing or contracting.
- Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting financial models and analyses.
- Experience in applying organizational standards when developing proposal requests, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts.
- Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Strong verbal and written skills and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.
- Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology.
- Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
- Exemplify a strong attention to detail.
- Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of standard programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Previous experience working with contract regulations and related laws is strongly preferred.
