Details of the Job/Internship
Azeus Systems Limited are currently recruiting for a Contracts and Legal Officer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract drafting, analysis and execution of various types of agreements including non-disclosure agreements, software licenses, purchase agreements, subscription agreements, consulting agreements, employment agreements, including review of customer proposed terms and conditions
- Reviewing all standard and non-standard contracts supplied, provide recommendations and negotiate directly with customer and legal team to reach consensus.
- Reviewing tender terms & conditions and providing inputs to bid / proposal preparation.
- Advising stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and provide clarification of contractual terms and conditions.
- Supporting the execution of commercial operations including the review and approval of contractual documentation.
- Researching new or developing areas of law including data protection laws, and drafting relevant policies and guidelines.
Eligibility
- Educated to degree level/law graduate with at least three years’ relevant experience.
- Proven experience of commercial / corporate contracts review, negotiation, change, amendment, review as well as management of NDA, MOU, Bid, tender and proposal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill able to directly converse and advise on contractual issues at senior levels.
- An ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and complete work accurately to a high standard.
- Experience of leading commercial contracts activity in a IT or Technology field would be beneficial.
