Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the position of Contract & Claims Manager to join their office in Surat. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated expertise in Contract and Claims Management, with a strong track record in handling complex, high-value contracts across diverse jurisdictions.
• Skilled in facilitating negotiations, mediating disputes, and, where necessary, initiating legal proceedings to secure favorable outcomes for all stakeholders.
• Proven experience in Contract Arbitration, including preparation of case documentation and representing client interests effectively.
• Well-versed in international contract standards, including FIDIC Books and clauses, with the ability to interpret and apply them across various project types.
• Proficient in analyzing contractual claims, compiling robust supporting evidence, and engaging relevant parties to resolve issues efficiently and amicably.
• Adept at identifying contractual risks early and implementing preventive strategies to minimize claim exposure and mitigate financial impacts.
• Ensures transparent and continuous communication with project teams, legal advisors, clients, and vendors to address and resolve contractual issues proactively.
• Responsible for generating detailed reports on contract performance, claims status, trend analysis, and associated financial implications to guide strategic decision-making.
• Serves as the primary client interface on matters related to contract terms, interpretations, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Monitors contract compliance, oversees the achievement of key milestones, and manages change orders and contract variations with precision.
• Proactively identifies and addresses potential claims arising from contractual ambiguities, delays, or unforeseen project developments.
