Genpact (NYSE: G) is hiring for the position of Contract Counsel to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of SaaS and software agreements including master service agreements, license contracts, statements of work, amendments, and change requests.
• Provide expert legal counsel on AI-related contracts, addressing nuanced considerations such as IP rights, warranties, indemnities, and third-party liabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the legal team for AI and emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with internal policies and global regulatory standards.
• Remain current with legal frameworks such as the EU AI Act, data privacy laws, and AI-specific industry guidelines.
• Support internal business teams in understanding the contractual impact of AI integration, including restructuring agreements as needed to accommodate new risks and obligations.
• Liaise cross-functionally with stakeholders across geographies, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Own the full contract lifecycle for assigned matters, ensuring clarity, consistency, and legal compliance throughout.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted legal advisor.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or higher from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial contracting and technology law.
• Availability to work in a hybrid capacity from Genpact’s Bangalore office.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure overlap with stakeholders in the US and EU.

Salary/Stipend
