Details of the Job/Internship

HighRadius is hiring a Contract Counsel with 5+ years of experience to support its global contracting operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of global procurement contracts, including SaaS, IT infrastructure, hardware, and professional services agreements.
• Draft contract provisions using existing playbooks and independently where guidance is unavailable.
• Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and DPF.
• Negotiate Data Processing Addenda, Standard Contractual Clauses, and security exhibits.
• Issue and assess vendor data privacy impact assessments.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in new and existing contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders by translating complex legal issues into actionable guidance.
• Consult with internal and external subject matter experts as required.
• Support resolution of vendor performance issues, disputes, and contract terminations.
• Assist with additional legal projects as required by the legal department.

Eligibility

• Law graduate with an LLB and at least 5 years of experience in a law firm or multinational technology company.
• Experience with SaaS, IT, professional services, and data privacy agreements.
• Exposure to Indian contract law and cross-border transactions.
• Working knowledge of data protection laws in the EU, UK, USA, and India.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Privacy certifications and M&A experience are advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary/Stipend
