Details of the Job/Internship
Emerge Legal is hiring a Contract Lawyer with 6–10 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, vet, and redline various contracts and commercial agreements.
- Handle contract negotiations and support end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
- Provide legal advice on commercial transactions and international trade matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct legal research, due diligence, and risk assessments.
- Support matters involving litigation, IP rights, and business restructuring where required.
Eligibility
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in contract drafting, vetting, and negotiations.
- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in litigation, restructuring, or IP matters is an advantage.
- LLB required; LLM or expertise in international trade law is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
