Details of the Job/Internship
UBS is hiring a Contract Lawyer with experience of at least 5 years to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support procurement partners and business colleagues in negotiating and documenting complex, high value contracts such as business process outsourcing, technology-related contracts, and real estate leases.
- Advise stakeholders on group policies and procedures for third party and legal risk management.
- Work closely with legal teams across APAC to deliver practical and holistic advice.
- Collaborate with business and enabling functions on cross-divisional and cross-regional initiatives.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in outsourcing, procurement contracts, and general corporate and commercial law.
- At least 5 years PQE trained at an international law firm or working in-house in a global organization.
- Qualified in one of the major jurisdictions in APAC.
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills with sound judgment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Result-oriented, assertive, and attentive to organizational governance, policies, and culture.
